Recycling Facility

An increase in the volume of recycled products in southeastern Manitoba led to the need for a larger recycling sorting facility. The new complex increased the current capacity by 400% with the intent of future expansion in both the sorting and warehouse functions. The facility provides employment opportunities for individuals to assist in independent living.

The project reflects the philosophy of the recycling facility - utilizing construction materials, which contain recycled content; materials which may be later reused or recycled; or materials which are renewable resources.
